Senecio pyramidalis (commonly known as pyramid senecio or mountain fireweed) is a fast-growing, evergreen succulent shrub native to South Africa. It typically grows upright in a pyramidal form, reaching about 1–2 m tall. The plant has long, narrow, grey-green leaves with a slightly fleshy texture. In late summer to autumn, it produces clusters of small, creamy-white to yellowish daisy-like flowers that attract pollinators. Hardy in mild climates, it thrives in well-drained soil and sunny to lightly shaded positions, making it a striking structural plant for xeriscape or low-water gardens.
