Echinopsis oxygona - Easter Lily Cactus

Echinopsis oxygona is a globular to short cylindrical cactus native to South America (Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina, and Paraguay). It usually grows solitary or in small clumps, with dark green stems covered in well-spaced ribs and clusters of short, curved spines. The plant is best known for its spectacular, funnel-shaped flowers that open at night—large, fragrant, and often white to pale pink, sometimes exceeding 15 cm in length. These blooms are short-lived but striking, making the species popular among cactus collectors and ornamental.
