Echeveria ‘Afterllux’ is a striking hybrid by Chris Chatfield at Guernsey Succulents named in homage to both of its parents, blending the glowing tones of Afterglow with the soft elegance of Pollux. The plant forms a broad, open rosette measuring approximately 17 cm in diameter and 13 cm in height.
Its fleshy leaves—about 8 cm long and 5 cm wide—are a cool blueish-green with vivid pink margins that intensify in summer, often transforming the entire leaf into a vibrant pink, reminiscent of Echeveria Afterglow. A light coating of farina gives the plant a soft, powdery finish.
As the plant matures, it develops a sturdy central stem and begins to offset from the base, forming attractive clusters over time. In late spring to early summer, it produces delicate light pink flowers, providing a gentle complement to its bold foliage.
A dynamic and colorful addition to any collection, ‘Afterllux’ brings year-round interest and strong visual appeal.
