Aloe mitriformis, now more commonly known as Aloe perfoliata, is a succulent plant native to South Africa. It features thick, blue-green, triangular leaves arranged in dense rosettes, often with white teeth along the margins. The plant grows prostrate or sprawling, especially over rocks, and produces striking red to orange tubular flowers in summer. It's well-suited for rock gardens and drought-tolerant landscapes due to its hardiness and tolerance to dry conditions.
